One should never drink that much Firewhiskey to celebrate a Quidditch victory and then have the punch at the Halloween party. I suppose I should know better than to drink the punch at parties in the castle when certain people are around. Thank Merlin for hangover potions. I never would have been able to finish that History of Magic essay with the headache I woke up with today.

Sorry if I was a bit too talkative or loud or anything abnormal really. We had a party in the common room before the Halloween party to celebrate winning the Quidditch match yesterday morning and there was a good deal of firewhiskey involved. You know, that reminds me. You should definitely come to my house for our family Christmas party. Or well, at least come for one of the many days over which the Christmas party generally extends. Kiely Christmas parties are loads of fun.

I've gotten next to nothing done this week. I'm going to be up all night writing those essays for Potions and History of Magic. Anyone else joining me, or are you all finished already?

I know asking this over the journals and not in person is a bit silly, but I was reminded when I walked by the notice in the common room, and it's after curfew, and I wanted to make sure no one beat me to it. I hope no one has already. But anyway, I think you and I should go to Hogsmeade together. What do you say?

I think Potions may be the death of me. Why oh why did I continue on with that class? At least I will be able to make it through the next week knowing that a trip to Hogsmeade awaits us all on Saturday.
